Two people run this site. Here is who they are and what each one actually does.

Marcus Vance

Marcus Vance
Writer
Marcus Vance
AI & Productivity Software

Marcus writes every tool profile, switch guide, and use-case roundup published on AI Productivity.tools.

Marcus started paying close attention to this category when AI tools began showing up inside software people already used daily, not just as standalone chatbots. His beat is the practical end of it: what a tool actually does once you are past the demo, what it costs once you are past the free tier, and which alternative is worth the switch when a subscription stops making sense.

He tests tools directly before writing about them and checks pricing against each vendor's own page rather than a review aggregator. When a plan changes, and in this market they change often, the relevant guide gets a pricing pass rather than waiting for a full rewrite. He does not hold a professional license in accounting, law, HR, or any other field covered by the use-case guides on this site, and none of that content is offered as advice in that professional's place.

Recent work: AI tools for marketing, AI tools for sales, AI tools for content creators.

Founder & Editor

Chris founded AI Productivity.tools and edits what runs on it. He does not write bylined articles here.

Chris built the site and sets the standards it runs on, covered in full on the editorial standards page: how a tool gets added, how pricing gets checked, and how a correction gets handled. He reviews Marcus's work before it publishes but is not the byline on any tool profile, switch guide, or use-case page.
